Iranian television broadcast a video of the takeoff and flight of the domestic version of the U.S. RQ-170 Sentinel drone. The stealth aircraft is modeled after the original, captured in 2011 inside Iranian territory while the spy plane was carrying out a secret incursion.

The images show a dark-colored air vehicle flying over an unidentified mountainous terrain. After performing several flight maneuvers, the aircraft is seen landing in an airfield. The video footage constitutes the first evidence that the Iranian-made drone is operational.
