Uri Avnery

Uri Avnery is co-founder of Gush Shalom, a mouvement which supports the return to the 1967 border between Israel and Palestine, with Jerusalem as the capital of both states. In the 1940’s he became a member of the terrorist group Irgun. He is a frequent writer for the Hebrew language daily Ma’ariv.
