The National Westminster Bank has frozen the British account of a foreign television news station. No official explanation was given to the press and the legal basis for the decision - if indeed there is one - remains unknown.
The target is Press TV, Iran’s television network based in Tehran, broadcasting in English round-the-clock.
Press TV London’s office employs Tony Blair’s sister-in-law, who is a convert to Islam.
