The Syrian army subdued an armed group that had taken control of Jisr al-Choughour, a city on the Turkish border, slaughtering 120 members of security forces.
A mass grave was discovered, containing the corpses of ten soldiers decapitated by the assailants or whose members had been severed.
Syria is gripped by a military destabilization which is orchestrated by extremist religious groups and mercenaries recruited by Prince Bandar bin Sultan of Saudi Arabia and overseen by the CIA.
