While the Anglo-American press, too busy with its anti-Russian campaign, is giving the Syrians a rest, the French press is still gung-ho for regime change. Nevertheless, for the first time, a report was published in a trendy weekly newspaper attesting to the crimes of armed groups.
On its front page, official Atlanticist mouthpiece "Le Monde" called for the creation of a contact group; in other words, the formation of an ad hoc military coalition. However, after Germany’s refusal of a new military adventure and the play down by the Arab League, Paris with its fantasies of leadership has remained isolated.
