The PKK has released the minutes of the 1 June 2014 meeting held in Amman to launch a joint attack by the ISIL and Iraq’s autonomous Kurdish government.
According to Turkish newspaper Özgür Gündem [1], the meeting was allegedly prepared during Massoud Barzani’s visit to Amman, on May 27, later to be held under the auspices of the United States, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Israel and Turkey.
The twelve participants included:
– Qallab Salah, head of Jordanian Intelligence
– Azad Bervari, Kurdistan Democratic Party (Barzani faction)
– Masrour "Jomaa" Barzani, Intelligence chief of the local Kurdistan Government
– Ezzat Ibrahim al-Douri (former Ba’ath Party vice-president under Saddam Hussein), Men of the Naqshbandi movement
– Mullah Krekar, Ansar al-Islam (AI)
– A representative of Ansar al-Ahlu Sunnah
– A representative of the 1920 Revolution Brigades
The proclamation of the Caliphate was apparently not discussed at this meeting.
The PKK, which considers this "Kurdistan" creation as an imperialist abomination, calls on its members to take up arms against it.
These revelations confirm Thierry Meyssan’s analysis on the coordination between the ISIL and the local government Kurdistan government [2].
