William Blum
William Blum left the State Department in 1967 in opposition to the Vietnam War. He became one of the founders and editors of the Washington Free Press and has been a freelance journalist in the United States, Europe, and South America, receiving the Project Censored’s award for “exemplary journalism” in 1999. He is the author of Killing Hope: U.S. Military and CIA Interventions Since World War II, Rogue State: a guide to the World’s Only Super Power and West-Bloc Dissident: a Cold War Political Memoir.
