Frits Bolkestein

Former director of the Shell’s Chemistry Department (1973-1976), Dutch liberal representative (1978-1982, 1986-1988, 1989-1999), Minister of Foreign Trade (1982 1986) and Defense (1998-1999), Frits Bolkestein was European commissioner for the Internal Market. His name is still part of the guidelines about the relaxing of services in the EU. He is now lobbying on MENATEP’s behalf for Yukos case.
