DIGNIDAD, SOBERANÍA Y REVOLUCIÓN EN VENEZUELA

Para Bush, el Presidente Chávez que lidera la Revolución Bolivariana, es un peligro para la «democracia y la libertad» al estilo del Imperio y, como es amigo de Fidel Castro, se constituye en grave amenaza para los sacrosantos intereses de Estados Unidos, las transnacionales monopólicas y las oligarquías venezolanas. En consecuencias, hay que acabar con Chávez y la Revolución Bolivariana, al precio que sea necesario, sin que importen los derechos legítimos del pueblo y con total irrespeto a la soberanía, autodeterminación e independencia garantizados por el Derecho Internacional.

Para liquidar al sueño revolucionario de Chávez, el Imperio cuenta con la sanguinaria CIA y a esa agencia del terror y espionaje universal, le ha encomendado que encabece la oposición venezolana y así fue como tuvo activa participación en el golpe de Estado de 2002, en la organización del sabotaje petrolero, en los diversos y múltiples atentados terroristas, en la conspiración armada ocurrida antes, durante y después de la recolección de firmas en el referendo revocatorio, en la organización de paros y huelgas, de manifestaciones violentas y de asesinatos contra dirigentes populares y últimamente del Fiscal que investigaba el golpe de Estado y execrables actos criminales de la oposición patrocinada por la CIA.

La Red Voltaire, en el mes de noviembre de 2003, publicó un estudio documentado del periodista e intelectual venezolano Pacho Villamar, en el que sostiene: «Ahora la CIA es la principal protagonista de la oposición al gobierno de Chávez y dado su extraordinario poder, basado en Estados Unidos, marca el paso de una oposición diversa y fraccionada por intereses económicos, sociales y políticos internos, en muchos casos antagónicamente opuestos. Hábilmente la CIA los manipula para su propósito esencial: destruir la democracia en Venezuela y someter al país a la tutela colonial del capital estadounidense».

Villamar afirma que en este camino la CIA ha trabajado en la satanización del Presidente Chávez. En la izquierda pretenden desprestigiarlo presentándolo como un populista, gorila y una amenaza a la democracia. Ocultan que el gobierno de Carlos Andrés Pérez, para imponer las medidas draconianas del Fondo Monetario Internacional, ordenó la masacre de 7.000 ciudadanos en la revuelta conocida como «Caracazo» y que la oposición a este crimen fue el origen de la insurrección de Chávez contra el sangriento «demócrata» preferido de Wall Street.

En la derecha, presentan al Coronel, como la extensión de Fidel Castro. Pero no pueden vencer la realidad, Chávez es el Presidente que goza de la más activa simpatía popular en su país y en el continente, incluido el pueblo de Estados Unidos. Y sin duda, una de las causas de su popularidad internacional, es la constatación de que la CIA se opone a él.

Aspecto al que se suma el que no pudo vencerlo en el golpe del 11 de abril de 2002, diseñado como una versión actualizada del pinochetazo del 11 de septiembre de 1973, en el curso del cual ni siquiera los 2.000 allanamientos ejecutados en un día, pudieron detener la insurrección popular que lo restituyó en el poder. Y que tampoco pudo vencerlo en el sabotaje petrolero más agresivo de la historia.

En la Revista Temas (del 19 al 25 de marzo de 2004) se refiere que el congresista José Serrano, Representante demócrata del Estado de Nueva York afirmó que Estados Unidos financia a grupos de oposición con el fin de debilitar la democracia en Venezuela.

Lamentó que el gobierno estadounidense no respete a Presidentes electos democráticamente. «Se trata (Chávez) de una persona que ha sido electa dos veces. No podemos continuar diciendo que la democracia es buena y después no apoyarla». El congresista denunció que Otto Reich quiere tumbar a Chávez por su amistad con el Presidente Fidel Castro. Serrano enfatizó que «si alguien tiene de cualquier forma o cualquier manera una relación amigable con Castro, (Otto) Reich lo botará».

Usando los medios de comunicación que se prestan en muchos casos por dinero, prensa escrita, radiodifusión y televisión de propiedad privada de los grupos de poder económico y político de Venezuela, tal como ha ocurrido en América Latina, la CIA, con el propósito de desprestigiar la actividad gubernamental de Chávez, por primera vez desnuda los rostros de la miseria, como si esta fuera el producto del último gobierno y no el resultado del despiadado saqueo de la riqueza petrolera venezolana por el capital transnacional.

Denuncia también la violencia de la delincuencia en el mismo sentido, como si no hubiera sido producida por el mismo capital transnacional y las oligarquías locales. Así también calla con desvergüenza, que el pueblo venezolano fue condenado a la miseria por los gobiernos de la burguesía que contaron con el apoyo de Estados Unidos en sus corruptelas sembradoras de pobreza.

Nada dicen, por ejemplo, que en 1999, el 85 % de la población era pobre La CIA ignora lo que el gobierno bolivariano está haciendo: la entrega de tierra a los campesinos, la alfabetización masiva de quienes el viejo régimen mantuvo en la ignorancia, sus programas de salud, la recuperación para el beneficio de su país de la industria petrolera y lo que la gente siente y las estadísticas revelan, una disminución de la delincuencia.

Ahora preparan un nuevo asalto contra la democracia en Venezuela, que es un nuevo atentado contra la autodeterminación y la soberanía de América Latina, dice Villamar.

En la Venezuela de la Revolución Bolivariana, la CIA y el Imperio han actuado con extraordinario dinamismo para enviar centenares de espías, entrenar en el manejo de armamento sofisticado a policías de gobernaciones y municipios que orquestan la oposición, como si se prepararan para una guerra civil.

Es más, la CIA ha introducido aviones y fomenta la «desobediencia civil», manifestaciones en contra del Comandante bolivariano y la más grande oposición mediática que no se detiene ante nada, ni siquiera ante los límites de la ética periodística. Nunca antes se ha insultado tanto a un Presidente por medio de la televisión, de la radio y la prensa escrita y, sin embargo no hay ningún medio de comunicación clausurado, periodista detenido o presos políticos.

La abogada estadounidense, especialista en derechos humanos. Eva Golinger denunció que el gobierno de Estados Unidos «para el financiamiento de actividades conspirativas en Venezuela, aproximadamente la «inversión» en dólares pasaría de los USA $ 1.136.000». Golinger en su análisis refleja «la entrega de un millón 136 mil dólares a Cedice y a la CD para el financiamiento de foros y actividades en contra del proceso bolivariano», según reportaje especial de la periodista Wendy La Rosa, publicado por el Diario caraqueño VEA en la edición de 17 de abril de 2004.

Antonio José Herrada Ávila, en la Revista Temas de Venezuela del 18 de diciembre de 2004, expresa que el imperialismo ha movido sus fichas en contra de Venezuela y que por ejemplo ha «comprado el seso del embajador de Venezuela ante la ONU para que diga que el gobierno de Venezuela está cometiendo asesinatos.

Asesinatos que han sido previamente planificados por la oposición al ver que su Plan Guarimba no logró el objetivo deseado». Denunció que los medios de comunicación sirven a los planes geopolíticos de Bush en contra del proceso bolivariano. Las pruebas están en Venevisión, Televen, RCTV y Globovisión que «presentan mensajes cada 15 minutos, con imágenes violentas, colocando la bandera de Venezuela llena de sangre y acusando al Presidente Chávez de asesino».

La CD (Coordinadora Democrática de oposición financiada por Estados Unidos) dice Herrada, «está tratando de buscar más muertos con la intención de crear un conflicto armado entre hermanos de un mismo país, tal como un guión de película escrito por la CIA».

Un coro de dueños de periódicos, revistas, radiodifusoras y canales de televisión de América Latina y de Venezuela se ha levantado para protestar contra la nueva Ley de Comunicación y Prensa aprobada constitucionalmente, pero nada dicen sobre que esa Ley ha sido diseñada y establecida para proteger al pueblo y, en especial a los niños venezolanos de tanta infamia difundida en aras de la libertad de prensa y que se refieren a la violencia social, al crimen, al terror, violencia intrafamiliar y violaciones sexuales.

En el diario VEA de 11/febrero/2004, se denuncia que millones de dólares recibe la oposición para financiar el derrocamiento de Chávez. Afirma que Fundaciones (ONGs) encubiertas de la CIA y el Departamento de Estado han suministrado millones de dólares para pagar la campaña mediática y las operaciones contra Chávez. Las revelaciones han sido posibles gracias a documentos obtenidos por el periodista norteamericano Jeremy Bigwood, provenientes de los propios archivos de la CIA.

Bigwood dijo al periódico británico The Independent, en artículo reproducido por VEA que el financiamiento a la oposición a Chávez por parte de Estados Unidos [«repite el patrón que se desarrolló en Nicaragua en la elección de 1990 cuando Estados Unidos invirtió 20 dólares por elector en ese país centroamericano para conseguir la derrota del Presidente sandinista Daniel Ortega. Hacer tal cosa en nombre de la democracia es muy hipócrita»].

Estados Unidos y la CIA utiliza diversas organizaciones tipo ONG, para desarrollar operaciones encubiertas. Una de ellas es la National Endowment for Democracy que juega un papel protagónico en contra de Chávez, ya que a través de ella se reparten millones de dólares entre los opositores.

Esa organización no gubernamental distribuye unos 40 millones de dólares, anualmente, entre grupos y entidades no gubernamentales, que en América Latina y en otras partes del mundo, tratan de imponer sistemas con «valores impulsados por Estados Unidos». La NED expresa Bigwood, es una de las principales organizaciones encubiertas de la CIA, dedicadas a desprestigiar a Chávez para lograr su derrocamiento.

El pueblo bolivariano -en las calles- detuvo los afanes golpistas de la Administración Bush

Ante pruebas contundentes, según sostiene la periodista Rosanna Rodríguez desde Washington, el vocero del Departamento de Estado, Richard Boucher, reconoció que el gobierno de Estados Unidos a través del Instituto Nacional Demócrata (NDI) ayuda financieramente a grupos supuestos a fortalecer la democracia en Venezuela. De acuerdo con los documentos de la CIA, Estados Unidos ha enviado millones de dólares a líderes de la oposición en Venezuela, a fin de financiar operaciones de desestabilización contra el gobierno legítimo del coronel Chávez. [«Los documentos reflejaron que NED pagó más de un millón de dólares a los llamados grupos antichavistas con el fin de que estos contribuyeran a imponer en Venezuela una democracia al estilo norteamericano»].

Más aún, Ariel Floril en la Revista Temas de Venezuela de 25/marzo/2004, sostenía refiriéndose a Bigwood que había afirmado que la NED utiliza «ramas operacionales» como el Instituto Internacional Republicano, el Instituto Nacional Democrático para Asuntos Internacionales, el sector de Relaciones Extranjeras de la organización sindical AFL-CIO y el Centro Americano para la Solidaridad Laboral Internacional, para enviar fondos a la oposición venezolana. AFL-CIO, desde hace décadas es utilizada por la CIA para penetrar en el movimiento sindical de América Latina.

Omar Gómez, en el Diario VEA de 14/marzo/2004, afirmaba que la embajadora estadounidense en Brasil y anterior embajadora en Venezuela en los días previos al golpe de Estado, Donna Hrinak solicitó al gobierno de Brasil que endureciera su posición con Venezuela. El parlamentario venezolano Saúl Ortega denunciaba que «Hrinak, siendo embajadora en Venezuela se fue un mes antes del golpe de Estado, después de hacer todos los preparativos para esa acción».

Gómez señalaba que es «interesante recordar a Steve Kangas en su artículo Memorial de atrocidades de la CIA, publicado en Rebelión en diciembre de 2003, en el que escribía que la Asociación para el Disenso Responsable estimaba que para 1987, seis millones de personas habían muerto como resultado de las operaciones encubiertas de la CIA.

El ex funcionario del Departamento de Estado William Blum llamó a esto correctamente un «Holocausto estadounidense» (Coleman McCarthy, The Consequences of Cover Tactics Washington Post, December 13, 1987). Este «Holocausto Estadounidense» debe llevarnos a reflexionar sobre la titánica tarea que le espera a Venezuela y enfrentar una amenaza gigantesca como la que representa la CIA, hasta el terrorismo mediático llevado a cabo, principalmente, por las televisoras comerciales de Venezuela».

El escritor y profesor universitario de la Universidad de los Andes de Venezuela, José Sant Roz en su último libro: La CIA en Venezuela (Kariña Editores. Mérida Venezuela) pone al descubierto a los personeros de la política venezolana, empresarios, sindicalistas y religiosos relacionados directa o indirectamente con la Agencia Central de Inteligencia -CIA- y demuestra que existen venezolanos que hasta sin tener conciencia de lo que hacen o dicen, prestan servicios de variada naturaleza a la CIA y sus planes desestabilizadores ya sea en calidad de acuciosos informantes, mediante paga en dólares, venta de trabajos intelectuales en degenerada actitud o entrenamiento pagado para realizar sabotajes, preparar asonadas, planificar asesinatos y otras barbaridades propias de la CIA.

Sant Roz llama «agentes o sirvientes» a los personajes venezolanos que intervienen activamente en la oposición a Chávez y que siempre van de la mano de la CIA y menciona a los «líderes» Gabriel Puerta Aponte, Ángela Zago, Carlos Andrés Pérez, Pompeyo Márquez, Oswaldo Álvarez Paz, general Raúl Salazar Rodríguez, Douglas Bravo, Américo Martín, y muchos otros, entre ellos, algunos personajillos que en un tiempo fueron comunistas o dirigentes de la izquierda venezolana y hasta guerrilleros víctimas de la misma CIA.

El profesor Sant Roz, también denuncia el financiamiento del National Endowment for Democracy -NED- a distintos medios de comunicación opositores al gobierno del Presidente Chávez y expresa que «las acciones de la CIA muy pocos la conocen. La CIA, dice, puede estar derrumbando las bases de un Estado a través de una inocente competencia de fútbol, por ejemplo.

Sus laboratorios cuentan en Venezuela con fotógrafos, maquilladores, barrenderos, profesores universitarios, limpiabotas, heladeros, mensajeros, etc.» Es seguro que en la mayor parte de las veces, esta gente ni siquiera se entera de que está siendo usada por la CIA.

Revela la existencia de un «consorcio» que intenta desde Washington dominar al mundo. En él están: George Bush, James Wolfenshon (Banco Mundial), el Rey Juan Carlos de España, Henry Kissinger y sus títeres Jimmy Carter y César Gaviria, quienes tienen la encomienda de «arreglar a Chávez».

Las ONGs de derechos humanos y varias de la «sociedad civil» son otra punta de lanza de la CIA en la activa oposición a la Revolución Bolivariana y, para servir a la CIA y a los intereses del Imperio, no podía faltar la Iglesia Católica y sus sacerdotes como fue el caso de Baltasar Porras, Presidente de la Conferencia Episcopal de Venezuela.

El Presidente Chávez denunció ante organismos latinoamericanos y mundiales, la injerencia de Estados Unidos y de la CIA en Venezuela. En el mes de septiembre de 2003, mientras más dura era la actitud golpista de la opositora empresarial y política, sostuvo que tenía en su poder un video que sus fuerzas de seguridad grabaron secretamente en el que, agentes de la CIA daban instrucciones a venezolanos. Burlándose de la CIA expresó: «La técnica no debe haber sido muy buena, puesto que logramos filmarlo».

El propio Presidente de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela, el Vicepresidente y varios de los Ministros de Estado, ante diversos foros internacionales, han denunciado en forma reiterada a la CIA implicada en actividades clandestinas en Venezuela, antes, durante y después del golpe de Estado, en el proceso de recolección de firmas para el referendo revocatorio del mandato, durante las elecciones, en el uso de los medios de comunicación social, en el financiamiento de las actividades opositoras, en los atentados criminales y en los diversos estratos poblacionales; pero la CIA hasta ahora ha fracasado en sus intentos provocadores que aspiran a derrocar al Presidente Chávez, o asesinarlo como lo ha hecho con otros líderes mundiales que resultaron molestos a los planes expansionistas y de dominación imperial.

La CIA, el brazo clandestino de los gobiernos de Estados de Estados Unidos, viola todos los principios del Derecho Internacional en la República Bolivariana de Venezuela; pero no sólo la CIA conspira contra la democracia venezolana y el Estado de Derecho, sino otras agencias como la National Endowment for Democracy (NED), la Agencia de los Estados Unidos para el Desarrollo Internacional (USAID) y otras que suministran logística y millones de dólares a la oposición empresarial y burgués-oligárquica. Un claro ejemplo está en el uso y abuso de los medios de comunicación social privados que, al servicio de la Agencia, calumnian, engañan y mienten tratando de desprestigiar al Presidente Chávez.

A fines de marzo de 2004, el embajador de Venezuela ante el Consejo Permanente de la OEA, Jorge Valero, denunció la conspiración de Estados Unidos y de la CIA para derrocar al Jefe de Estado venezolano: Con pruebas contundentes demostró la injerencia imperial en financiamiento de actividades de desestabilización, reconocimiento automático del gobierno dictatorial surgido del golpe de Estado de abril de 2002, promoción del referendo revocatorio del mandato, etc.

Naturalmente que el representante de Estados Unidos ante la OEA, el ex embajador en Venezuela, John Maisto negó todos los contundentes hechos expuestos por Valero y con el cinismo imperial de siempre dijo que las acusaciones son: «irresponsables y falsas»; pero la realidad existente y la historia de las actividades clandestinas de la CIA que violan todos los derechos y libertades de los pueblos son innegables e irrefutables.

THE EMPIRE AND THE CIA AGAINST LATIN AMERICA (Second part)

DIGNITY, SOVEREIGNTY AND REVOLUTION IN VENEZUELA

Cleric Ernesto Cardinal, Nicaraguan poet and revolutionary, in the edition of April 23rd 2007 of «El Nuevo Diario» of Managua, affirms that Venezuela, leaded by the President Chávez, has begun a new Revolution in Latin America. He supports that «Chávez has all the private and foreigners means of communication against him. The opposition, furthermore, looks to terrorism. Their political demonstration are vandalism»; however, as Bush decided that Chávez is an enemy of the Empire, those terrorists are not terrorist, and they are fighting for democracy and freedom. With his double speech and double moral, Bush, the emperor and sir of war and death, and a real danger for humanity and the American people, qualifies as terrorist the guerrilla FARC and ELN in Colombia and disqualifies of terrorists the Chechnya fundamentalists that murdered, with extreme cruelty, the children of a school in Beslan, in the north of Caucasus in Russia. It is true that who sows hatred, harvests hatred. Undoubtedly, Bush is the greatest terrorist of all times.

For Bush, the President Chávez, who leads the Venezuelan Revolution, is a danger for «democracy and freedom» to the Empire style. In addition, as he is a friend of Fidel Castro, he is a serious threat for the sacrosanct interests of the United States, the transnational companies, and the Venezuelan oligarchies. Consequently, they must finish with Chávez and the Venezuelan Revolution. It does not matter how much it will cost, without thinking about the legitimate rights of people and without respecting sovereignty, self-determination and independence, which are rights guaranteed by the International Law.

In order to liquidate the revolutionary dream of Chávez, the Empire has the CIA, and that terror and universal espionage agency is the responsible of leading the Venezuelan opposition; for that reason, it had an active participation in the coup d’état in 2002, in the organization of the oil sabotage, in the various and multiple terrorist attacks, in the armed conspiracy that took place before, during and after they were collecting signs for the Revocatory referendum, in the organization of strikes, of violent demonstrations and of assassinations of popular leaders, and in the last time, also, of the Public Prosecutor who was investigating the coup d’état and detestable criminal acts of the opposition which was sponsored by the CIA.

The Voltaire Net, on November 2003, published a documented research of the journalist and intellectual Venezuelan Pacho Villamar that supports: Now the CIA is the principal protagonist of the opposition to the government of Chávez, and due to its extraordinary power, based on the United States, it marks the steps of a various opposition which has been fractioned by economic, social and internal political interests. Skillfully, the CIA manipulates them in order to achieve its essential purpose: to destroy democracy in Venezuela and submit that nation to the colonial tutelage of the American capital.

Villamar affirms that the demonization of the President Chavez by the CIA has worked in this way. Leftists intend to discredit him, presenting him as a populist and a threat to the democracy. They try to hide that the government of Carlos Andrés Pérez, ordered the massacre of 7.000 citizens in the carachazo in order to impose the draconian measures of the International Monetary Fund, and the opposition to this crime was the origin of the insurrection of Chávez against the bloody «democrat» who is preferred of Wall Street. The right presents the Colonel as the extension of Fidel Castro. But they cannot defeat the truth; Chávez is the President that has the most active popular friendliness in his country and in the continent, including the United States people. Without doubt, one of the causes of his international popularity is the verification of the fact that the CIA is opposed to him. In addition, they could not defeat him in the coup d’état of April 11th 2002, which was designed as an updated version of the «pinochetazo» of September 11th 1973, during which not even 2.000 searches executed in a day could stop the popular insurrection that refunded him in power. Also, the CIA could not defeat him in the most aggressive oil sabotage of history.

The Magazine «Temas» supports that the Congress member José Serrano, democrat representative of the State of New York asserted that United States finances groups of opposition in order to weaken the democracy in Venezuela. He regretted that the American government does not observe democratically elected presidents. «He (Chávez) is a person that has been elected for two times. We cannot continue saying that the democracy is good and then don’t support it». The Congress member denounced that Otto Reich wants to overthrow Chávez due to his friendship with the President of Cuba, Fidel Castro. Serrano emphasized that «if someone has, in any way, a relationship with Castro, Reich will throw him out».

Using the means of communication: newspapers, radio, TV that belong to the groups that have the economic and political power in Venezuela, the CIA, for the first time, the CIA, to discredit the government of Chavez, shows the faces of misery, as if it were a product of the last government and not the result of the pitiless plundering of the Venezuelan oil wealth by the transnational capital. The CIA denounces, also, the violence of the delinquency in the same sense, as if it has not been produced by the same transnational capital and the local oligarchies. They also maintain in secret that the Venezuelan people were condemned to live in misery by the oligarchic government, which had the help of the United States. They do not say, for example, that in 1999 the 85% of the population was poor. The CIA ignores what the Venezuelan government is making: the land delivery to the peasants, the massive literacy of those who the old regime maintained in the ignorance, health programs, the recovery for the benefit of the country of the oil industry, and what the people feel and the statistics reveal: a decrease of the delinquency.

Now they are preparing a new attack against democracy in Venezuela; it is a new attempt against the self-determination and the Latin American sovereignty, says Villamar.

In the Venezuela of the Revolution, the CIA and the Empire have acted with extraordinary dynamism in order to send hundreds of spies and train policemen, who belong to local governments, in using sophisticated weaponry, as if they were preparing a civil war. In addition, the CIA has introduced planes and incentivates the «civil disobedience» throughout demonstrations against the Venezuelan Colonel and the largest opposition that does not stop before anything, not even before the limits of the journalistic ethics. A president has never been insulted by means of television, radio and written press like now. However, means of communication have not been closed, and journalists have not been arrested.

The American lawyer, specialist in human rights, Eve Golinger denounced that the government of the United States «spends approximately USD $ 1.136.000 for financing conspiracy in Venezuela». Golinger in her analysis reflects «the delivery of a million 136 thousand dollars to Cedice and to the DC for the financing of forums and activities against the Venezuelan process», according to special article of the journalist Wendy La Rosa, published by the Newspaper VEA on April 17, 2004.

Antonio José Herrada Ávila, in the Magazine «Temas» of Venezuela of 12-18-03-04, expresses that the imperialism has moved its chips against Venezuela; for example it has «bought the brain of the ambassador of Venezuela before the UN so that he says that the government of Venezuela is committing assassinations. The assassinations that have been previously planned by the opposition upon seeing that their Plan Guarimba did not achieve the wished objective». He denounced that the means of communication serve to the geopolitical plans of Bush against of the Venezuelan process. The proofs are in Venevisión, Televen, RCTV and Globovisión that «present» messages each 15 minutes, with violent images, putting the flag of Venezuela full blood and accusing the President Chávez of being a murder.

The DC (Democratic Coordinator for the opposition financed by the United States), says Shodden, «is trying to find more dead people in order to create an armed conflict between brothers of the same country, such as a movie written by the CIA».

A choir of newspaper, magazines, radio and TV Channels owners in Latin America and Venezuela begun a protest against the new Law of Communication and Press constitutionally approved, but they do not say anything about the fact that this Law has been designed and established to protect the population and, especially the Venezuelan children of so much turpitude spread, specially social violence, crime, terror, familiar violence and sexual violations.

The Journal «Vea», 11-02-04, denounced that the opposition receives millions of dollars to finance the overthrown of Chávez. He asserts that foundations (NGO’s) of the CIA and the State Department have supplied million of dollars to pay the campaign and the operations against Chávez. The revelations have been possible due to the documents obtained by the American journalist Jeremy Bigwood, which origin is in the own files from the CIA.

Bigwood said to the British newspaper The Independent, in an article reproduced by VEA that the financing to the opposition to Chávez by the United States «repeats the standard developed in Nicaragua in the 1990 election when the United States invested 20 dollars for elector in that Central American country to obtain the rout of the president Daniel Ortega. To make such thing on behalf of the democracy is very hypocritical».

The United States and the CIA uses various organizations type NGO, to develop deceit operations. One of them is the National Endowment for Democracy that has a protagonist role against Chávez, since through it is distributed million of dollars between the opposes. This nongovernmental organization distributes almost 40 million dollars, annually, between groups and nongovernmental entities, that in Latin America and in other parts of the world try to impose systems with «values impelled by the United States». The NED, expresses Bigwwood, is one of the principal organization of the CIA, whose objective is to discredit Chávez for his overthrown.

Before forceful proofs, according to the journalist Rosanna Rodriguez from Washington, the spokesman of the Department of State, Richard Boucher, recognized that the government of the United States through the National Democrat Institute (NDI) financially helps groups supposed to strengthen the democracy in Venezuela. According to the documents of the CIA, the United States has sent million of dollars to leaders of the opposition in Venezuela, in order to financing operations against the legitimate government of the colonel Chávez. «The documents reflected that NED paid more than a million of dollars to the groups against Chavez in order to contribute to impose in Venezuela a democracy to the American style».

Ariel Floril in the Magazine «Temas» in Venezuela (March 25, 2004) supported that Bigwwod had asserted that the NED uses «operational branches», such as the Republican International Institute, the National Democratic Institute for International Matters, the sector of Foreign Relationships of the union organization AFL-CIO and the American Center for the International Occupational Solidarity, to send funds to the Venezuelan opposition. The CIA uses AFL-CIO, from decades ago in order to penetrate in the union movement of Latin America.

Omar Gómez, in the Journal «Vea» of March 14th 2004, supported that the American ambassador in Brazil and previous ambassador in Venezuela, Donna Hrinak, before the coup d’état, requested the government of Brazil to endure its position with Venezuela. The Venezuelan parliamentarian Saúl Ortega denounced that «Hrinak, being ambassador in Venezuela, left the country a month before the coup d’état, after making all the preparations for that action».

Jose Sant Roz, writer and teacher in the University of Los Andes in Venezuela, in his last book, «La CIA en Venezuela», shows up people of the Venezuelan policy, entrepreneurs, unionists, and religious direct or indirectly related to the Central Intelligence Agency - CIA. He demonstrates that there are a lot of Venezuelan people that, without having conscience about what they make or say, are serving the CIA and its destabilizing plans. These people sometimes act as informants. They receive a pay in dollars or sale their intellectual projects to accomplish sabotages, to prepare attacks, to plan assassinations and other barbarities that are own of the CIA.

Sant Roz says that the Venezuelan personages that participate in the opposition to Chávez must be called«agents or servants». They always go together with the CIA, and among them are «leaders» like Gabriel Puerto Aponte, Angel Zago, Carlos Andrés Pérez, Pompeyo Márquez, Oswaldo Álvarez Paz, general Raúl Salazar Rodríguez, Douglas Bravo, Americo Martín, and others; some of them are people that a time ago were communist or leaders of the Venezuelan Lefth, or even guerrillas, victims of the own CIA.

Professor Sant Roz denounced the financing of the National Endowment for Democracy to different means of communication, which are opposed to the government of Chávez, and he expresses that «only a few people know about the actions of the CIA. The CIA, he says, is able to collapse the bases of a State through an innocent soccer competition, for example. Photographers, make-up artists, sweepers, university teachers, bootblacks, messengers, and others form their laboratories in Venezuela». It is possible that, the most of the times, this people not even know that the CIA is using them. He reveals the existence of a consortium that, from Washington, is trying to master world. This consortium is formed by: George Bush, James Wolfenshon (World Bank), the King Juan Carlos of Spain, Henry Kissinger and his puppets Jimmy Carter and César Gaviria, who has the commission of «correcting Chávez».

The NGOs of human rights and several of the civil society is another instrument of the CIA in the active opposition to the Venezuelan Revolution. In addition, it is impossible the absence of the Catholic Church and its priests, such as Baltasar Porras who is the President of the Episcopal Conference in Venezuela.

President Chávez denounced before Latin American and world organizations, the interference of the United States and the CIA in Venezuela. In September 2003, during the hardest entrepreneurial and political opposition, he supported that he had a video that his security forces recorded in which agents of the CIA were giving instructions to Venezuelan people. Making fun of the CIA he expressed: «the technique should not have been very good, since we could record it».

The own President of the Venezuelan Revolution, the Vice-president and several of the State ministers, have denounced before various international forums that the CIA is implicated in clandestine activities in Venezuela, before, during and after the coup d’état, in the process of collection of signs for the Revocatory referendum, during the elections, in the use of the social means of communication, financing activities of the opposition, in the criminal attempts, everything in different population strata. However, the CIA, until now, has failed in its provocative attempts that aspire to overthrow the President Chávez or murder him, such as they have done with other world leaders that they thought that were bothering the expansionary and domination plans of the Empire.

The CIA, the clandestine arm of the United States governments, infringes all the principles of International Law in the Republic of Venezuela. Even though, not only the CIA conspires against the Venezuelan democracy, there are other agencies as the National Endowment for Democracy, the United States Agency for the International Development (US AID) and other ones that supply logistics and millions of dollars to the entrepreneurial and oligarchic opposition. A clear example of this is the use and abuse of the private means of communication which, serving the Agency, cheat and lie, trying, in this way to ruin the reputation of the Colonel Chavez.

Around the end of March 2004, the ambassador of Venezuela before the Permanent Council of the OAS, Jorge Valero, denounced the United States and the CIA conspiracy to overthrow the President Chávez: With forceful proofs, he demonstrated the imperial inference in: financing activities of the opposition, automatic recognition of the dictatorial government that emerged from the coup d’état of April 2002, promotion of the Revocatory referendum, and others.

Naturally, the United States representative before the OAS and ex ambassador in Venezuela, John Maisto, denied all the forceful facts that were exposed by Valero; and, with imperial cynicism, as always, he said that those accusations are «irresponsible and untruthful»; but, the truth and the history of clandestine activities of the CIA that infringe all the rights and freedoms of the nations are undeniable and indisputable.
