Max Sisulu, President of South Africa National Assembly, said in this capital that the international struggle for the freedom of the five Cuban antiterrorist unjustly incarcerated in the United States will succeed.
The battle for justice might take time, but it will always achieve its goal, told Sisulo the relatives of the Cuban Five, as they are known internationally, at a meeting held at the Cuban Friendship Institute.
The South African leader told them that his country will sign a petition addressed to the US government “for it to stop the unfair treatment against your relatives”
After highly praising the blood shed by Cubans for the freedom of South Africa and other African nations, Sisulo recalled that Cuba has always been a example to follow by the world.
He gave the mothers and wives of the Cuban Five a photograph pf South African revolutionary leader Nelson Mandela, and reiterated his personal and his country’s commitment to their cause.
Maz Sisulo arrived in Cuba last Sunday heading a delegation of the South African Parliamnet and will extend his visit till next Thursday, during which he will hold talks with Cuban officials and visit economic and historical places.
