Moscow has announced that it was withdrawing it’s five warships from the Mediterranean: the anti-submarine vessel Admiral Panteleyev, the landing ships Admiral Nevelskoy and Peresvet, the tugboat Fotiy Krylov and the oil tanker Pechenga.
These ships had sailed from their home port, Vladivostok, on the 19th of March 2013, to cross the Indian Ocean. They were deployed off the Syrian coast shore during the chemical weapons crisis.
Following the example of the United States, Russia is returning to the same position as before the bombing threat against Syria [1].
